Over the course of the nine-month planning process, the Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority facilitated an inclusive stakeholder process to develop the first ever State Energy Strategy for Georgia. During the first two public comment periods, GEFA received recommendations on the content of the Strategy and public comments to the First Draft of the Strategy on this website (www.georgiaenergyplan.org).
During the third phase of public input, the Governor’s Energy Policy Council presided over five public "town hall" meetings that were held between September 25 and October 3, 2006 and received comments concerning the Second Draft of the State Energy Strategy.
